Can I just buy the capsules?
No. They are prescription-only, so a UK-registered clinician has to read your answers and agree they are right for you before anything is dispensed. That is why this page starts with a consultation rather than a basket. It is free and takes about 3 minutes.
What is in the capsule?
Two prescription ingredients and biotin, a B vitamin. Your clinician goes through exactly what is in it, and checks it suits you, before anything is sent.
Why is it called an unlicensed medicine?
Because this capsule does not have a UK marketing licence. Licensed medicines have been assessed by the MHRA, the UK medicines regulator, for safety, quality and effectiveness. This capsule has not, and one of its prescription ingredients is not licensed in the UK for hair loss when taken by mouth. A clinician will only prescribe it after an individual assessment, and will explain what that means for you before anything is sent.
What happens after my first 180 capsules?
Your plan carries on at £120 every 180 days, with free delivery. Each payment sends the next 180 capsules, timed to reach you around when your current supply runs out. We email you before every payment with the date and the amount. Cancel before that date and you pay nothing more.
Why do I need to subscribe to get £89?
Because the offer is for starting a 6-month plan. If you would rather buy once, 180 capsules are £120.
How do I cancel? Am I tied in?
You are not tied in. Cancel in your account, or email contact@follicle.uk. No phone call and no fee. If you cancel straight after your first order, you keep the 180 capsules you paid for.
What if a clinician says it is not right for me?
Nothing is sent and you get a full refund. The clinician may suggest something that suits you better. We take payment when you order after the consultation, so your order can go out straight away if it is approved.
What if I do not get on with it?
Email us and we will put you back in front of a clinician at no charge. They can change your treatment or tell you to stop. If they say stop, we cancel your plan there and then, and nothing more is taken or sent.
Medicines cannot go back into stock once they have been sent, because of health rules. Your cancellation rights are set out in our Refund Policy and in the terms below. If you have any doubts, email us before you order.
Do I have to keep taking it for ever?
No, but this treatment can help manage hair loss rather than cure it. If you stop, any hair you kept or grew back usually thins again over the following months. Whether you carry on is always your decision.
